If your child is feeling unwell please do not send them to nursery. If your child is taken ill during the day we will telephone you and discuss with you what is best for your child.

We are not allowed to administer any medicine that has not been specifically prescribed for your child and arrangements for this will be discussed with you. Our medication policy is available in the entrance porch of the nursery.

It is important that we have up to date contact numbers for adults with responsibility for the child to enable us to act in the best interest of your child if they are unwell at nursery. If your child has had sickness or diarrhoea please allow 48 hours after the last episode before sending your child back to nursery, this enables us to protect the health of other children and the staff.
